Introduction

Fenglin Valley Forest Park is located in the southern part of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, with a total area of 2,583 hectares. It is situated in the Yumai of Changbai Mountains, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with the highest peak, Bamenwei, reaching 1,288 meters. It is one of the few peaks over one kilometer in Liaoning Province. The park officially opened to the public in 2013. With excellent ecological environment, abundant streams, beautiful autumn leaves, and convenient transportation, it is an excellent choice for red leaf sightseeing, summer vacation, and leisure health.

Maple Valley is easily accessible by transportation: it's 6 kilometers away from the Lameng exit of the Heida expressway, 28 kilometers away from Huanren County, 240 kilometers away from Shenyang, 234 kilometers away from Benxi City, 120 kilometers away from Tonghua City, and 160 kilometers away from Dandong City. For guests coming from Shenyang: take the Shenyang-Jilin expressway to Nanzamu, then to Yongling, then to Huanren. In Huanren, take the expressway towards Dandong, and after 20 kilometers, exit at the Lameng station and turn right to travel 6 kilometers. For guests coming from Benxi City: take the Ben-Huan Highway to Huanren and then turn onto the expressway towards Dandong. After 20 kilometers, exit at the Lameng station and turn right to travel 6 kilometers. For guests coming from Tonghua City: take the Heida expressway (Dantong expressway) towards Dandong and continue for 55 kilometers within Huanren. Exit at the Lameng station and turn right to travel 6 kilometers. For guests coming from Dandong City: take the Heida expressway (Dantong expressway) within Huanren for 10 kilometers and exit at the Lameng station. Turn right to travel 6 kilometers.
