Introduction

Taohua Island is located in the center of the first bay of Nu River. It is a small peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and also known as Kantong Village, Zhanatong, and Zhalatong. The village was built by the Nu people and called Kantong Village. The scenery here is very beautiful, with peach trees planted throughout the village. Every spring, pink peach blossoms bloom, filling the entire island, hence the name Taohua Island. During the agricultural off-season or holidays, people come here to boat and sing and dance, calling it the "Gorge Peach Blossom Source," a harmonious and beautiful rural landscape.
