Introduction
Shangguan Lake, formerly known as Shangguan Reservoir, is located in Shangguan Village, Malanyu Town, Zunhua City, Hebei Province, 24 kilometers away from Zunhua City. It is backed by the Great Wall to the north, facing Tangquan to the east, and connected to Dongling to the west. The scenic area is characterized by green mountains, rippling blue waves, and peculiar rocks. There is a 30,000 square meter island in the lake, resembling a rooster singing on the Chicken Crown Mountain, the Double Breast Mountain named after two large white rocks, and the Black Water Valley with flowing blue waves, forming a natural landscape. The small scenic spots, such as the God Turtle Palace, the Sky-lifting Rock, the Island in the Heart of the Lake, the Male-Female Competition, the Book Mountain, and the Fairy Reflection, are pleasing to the eye.
