Introduction

Located in the northwest of Jiaocheng County and the northeast of Fangshan County in Shanxi Province, the Shanxi Pangquangou National Nature Reserve is a natural reserve for the wildlife and plants of the middle section of the Lvliang Mountains. The main objective of this reserve is to protect the endemic precious bird, the hazel grouse, and its habitat in China.
