Zhangbi Village, also known as Zhangbi Ancient Castle, is located in Longfeng Town, Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, China. It has the advantage of its terrain and has a three-layer ancient underground passage that measures 3000 meters long. On top of it, there are fortifications and walls that stretch for 1300 meters and inside, there are five major temple buildings. Zhangbi Ancient Castle is a rare castle site in China that has a dual military and civilian use, and it is also one of the few well-preserved ancient miniature castles. There are many historical sites inside the castle, including Xia and Zhou ancient cultural relics, Sui and Tang Dynasty underground passages, Jin Dynasty tombs, Yuan Dynasty theaters, Ming and Qing Dynasty residential buildings, etc. The most worth seeing is the three-layer underground passage, which contains facilities such as horse stables, granaries, flood prevention and blocking, wall-mounted communication equipment, and assassination devices. However, the construction time and builders of the hidden tunnels of the castle have always been a mystery to archaeologists.

Dongjialing Village has been selected as the seventh batch of Chinese historical and cultural village. Dongjialing Village is located 20 kilometers southwest of Lingshi County, in the northwest of Sitou Township. It is situated in an inverted ingot-shaped mountain basin, with residential courtyards naturally formed along with the changes in natural topography, forming a pattern of left, middle, and right. There are a total of 9 layers of courtyards on the left side of the hill, and 5 layers of courtyards on the right side. According to villagers, the 9 rows on the left and 5 rows on the right correspond to the meaning of "nine and five of honor". The residential houses are distributed in a concentric manner with the large locust tree in the village and the pagoda on the opposite steep ridge as the axis, connected by alleyways. The alleyways are layered and interconnected, with orderly expansion and contraction, intricate changes, and interspersed among the three-dimensional intersecting kilns.

The main gates generally do not have separate door legs, and even if they do, they are not protruding, but aligned with the walls. This can be seen from the numerous existing exquisite brick and wood carved plaques. For example, "Yong Tian Ji", "Lan Gui Xiu", "Zhan Zi Lai", "Gong Jing Zhong", "Le Geng Du", "Shi Shu Li", "You San Sheng", "Wu Ben Tu", etc., which have very rich meanings.
