Introduction

"Huitengxile" means "cool mountain ridge" or "cold mountain ridge" in Mongolian. The Huanghuagou Grassland Tourist Area is located in the central part of Inner Mongolia, in Chaha'er Right Wing Middle Flag of Ulanqab City. The scenic area is located at the northern foot of the Yin Mountains, the eastern section of the Daqing Mountains, with an average elevation of about 2100 meters. The highest average temperature throughout the year does not exceed 18°C, and the vegetation coverage rate is as high as 80%-95%. This is the habitat of many southern birds, swans, cranes and even other diverse water birds. It is also a natural paradise where various mushrooms and more than 300 different plants grow after thunderstorms. The scenery in the scenic area is beautiful, with vast natural birch and poplar trees, as well as man-made deciduous pines, Chinese spruces and firs. Its alpine grassland is considered to be one of the three best preserved high mountain grasslands in the world. The geographical location of the scenic area is unique. It is one of the grasslands with the closest distance and the most beautiful scenery around Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and Shanxi. It is very convenient to drive to this area, so it is known as the "Heavenly Grassland and Cool Paradise". The scenic area has a desolate style full of nomadic grassland, yet it does not lose the beautiful scenery of the Jiangnan Water Town. During the tourist season, the whole grassland presents white clouds, blue sky and green grass everywhere. In addition, there are countless flowers, yurts, cows, sheep, wonderful folk songs and fragrant milk wine. These elements combine to form a beautiful and magnificent grassland scenery.
