Introduction
Wuzhou Zhongshan Park is located at the foot of the mountain, covering an area of 125 hectares. The park is full of green trees, lush grass, winding paths, and harmonious scenery. It is a park rich in cultural connotations. During the period of the Great Revolution, Wei Baqun (1894-1932) was the main leader of the Youjiang peasant movement. After he was killed, his head was placed in a glass jar for display and eventually secretly buried in Wuzhou Zhongshan Park. On December 13, 1961, museum workers excavated Wei Baqun's skull outside Mingxiu Park. Currently, the Wei Baqun Martyrs Memorial Hall has been established at the location where the skull was unearthed. The Zhongshan Memorial Hall on the top of the mountain is the second earliest Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall built in the country.
