Introduction

In March 1999, Dong'an Forest Park was approved by the Anhui Forestry Bureau as a provincial forest park. The park covers an area of 1000 acres, with a well-preserved ecological environment and a wide variety of flora and fauna, including over 250 plant species and over 100 animal species. The park boasts the ancient ginkgo tree, a representative tree species with a tree age of 600 years, and the famous "panda in plants," Pinus bungeana. The park is surrounded by numerous peaks such as Zhaomian Mountain, Guanyin Mountain, Jian Mountain, Shanmian Mountain, Long Mountain, Bapao Mountain, Yadiao Mountain, and Cilong Mountain, like a shining pearl embedded in the south bank of Chaohu Lake. The forest coverage in the park is as high as 98%, with a negative oxygen ion concentration of up to 11,000/cm³, providing a peaceful and fresh natural forest oxygen bar.
