Introduction

Haizhou open-pit coal mine was built in the 23rd year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and declared bankrupt in 2005. Due to its unique terrain, large-scale geological changes have formed many fossils of animals and plants. Standing on the mine dispatching platform and looking far at the Yiwulu Mountain, the mountain is beautiful and lush, like a long dragon winding around the south edge of the open-pit mine and deep into the mine, feeling the charm of the largest open-pit coal mine in Asia. Therefore, Haizhou open-pit coal mine has become a tourist hotspot.
