Introduction

The Palace and Garden of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is one of the most famous scenic spots in Hengdian World Studios. It was carefully built based on the Forbidden City and is the largest one in the filming base. The scenic area includes four major architectural series: Beijing Palace, Royal Gardens, Mansion Courtyard, and Hutong Residence, as well as scenic spots such as Chessboard Street, Thousand-step Corridor, and Civil and Military Platform, which are extremely exquisite inside. Many film and television works have been filmed here, such as "The Banquet", "Curse of the Golden Flower" and "The Deer and the Cauldron". If you want to enjoy the palace performance, there are several scheduled performances every day. You can check the performance schedule at the entrance to avoid missing the wonderful performances.

Transportation
The Ming and Qing Palace Gardens are located inside the Hengdian World Studios, next to the Guangzhou/Hong Kong street scene area. There are direct shuttle buses to Hengdian from Hangzhou and Shanghai. There are tourist buses traveling between the various scenic areas of Hengdian World Studios, and if you stay at designated partner hotels, there are free shuttles to each scenic area.
