Introduction

Located at the border of Anhui and Hubei provinces, Heaven's Gate is about 1800 meters above sea level, and is the first important gateway in the southeastern Wu-Chu region. Heaven's Gate has rich forest resources, including rare ancient plants. In the morning, tourists can enjoy the sunrise, while in the evening, they can admire the sunset. On clear days after rain, climbing to the main peak to enjoy the sea of clouds scenery is sure to be awe-inspiring. Throughout history, Heaven's Gate has been the site of many important battles and events. Among them, it was a crucial area during the advance into the Dabie Mountains operation.
