Introduction

Salt Lake Park is a social welfare project funded and constructed by the government of Yancheng City. It was originally established as Yancheng County Nursery in 1956 and later renamed as Huang Hai Park. The Phase One project opened on October 1, 1998, and is one of the largest amusement parks in northern Jiangsu Province. It is located in the scenic southeast of Yancheng City, near the train station, National Highway 204, Ningyan Expressway, and Chuan Chang River. It covers a total area of 1,100 mu and has a total investment of approximately 360 million RMB. The Phase Two project plans to build a sports and leisure area and a 140-mu artificial lake, and construct a large water world to meet the fitness and entertainment needs of citizens. It is expected to be developed and constructed after 2000. The Phase Three project will build various Western and Chinese-style scenic spots and botanical gardens. Salt Lake Park is located in the central area of Yancheng City and covers an area of 728 mu, with a total investment of approximately 190 million RMB. It is one of the largest comprehensive parks in the city, with more than 30 scenic spots including Shimen Cailang and Fountain Theater. There are 43 bridges in the park, with exquisite shapes, forming a unique landscape. Green areas account for more than 51% of the park area, reflecting the concept of "green base and watery soul" and the organic integration of human and nature. The construction of Salt Lake Park has created many new chapters in the park construction of Yancheng and created many historical records, forming a rich and colorful water world and a unique style of bridge display, and creating a green and harmonious ecological environment.
