Introduction
There is a park in the southwest of Bengbu City called Zhanggongshan Park, with a total area of 72 hectares, which is the largest park in the city. Its construction began in 1973 and officially opened in 1983. Zhanggongshan Park is composed of Zhanggongshan and Huapi Lake (now renamed Zhanggong Lake), with a peninsula in the center of the lake. The scenery of the whole park is picturesque, with mountains and water complementing each other. The lakeside is planted with weeping willows, and there are towering pine and cypress trees on the mountain slope. The paths are winding, and there is a Huai Tower on the mountaintop. On the east side of the park, there are leisure facilities such as a boat dock, a tea house, and a water restaurant, as well as a Suzhou-style garden. There are buildings such as the Huai River Stele Forest and a restaurant in the garden. To the west of the park is a zoo. On the west side of the main gate to the north of the park, there is a children's playground with sculptures such as "Playing Children", "Mother and Son Sheep", and "Spring Rain".
