Introduction

The park consists of three main canals: Tianqiao, Zhengcha, and Wulichang. The park has majestic mountains, developed water systems, and beautiful scenery. Baizhi Forest Park is not only a commercial base, but also a natural barrier for the urban area of Tonghua, playing an important role in regulating the climate and conserving water sources. Baizhi National Forest Park is located in the southeast of Dongchang District, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, 25 kilometers away from the urban area. The park is located on the northern slope of the Laoling Mountains at the southern foot of the Changbai Mountains, adjacent to Tonghua County in the northwest. The climate in the park belongs to a continental monsoon climate, with distinct four seasons and large temperature differences. The forest park is a forest ecological tourist attraction mainly based on natural landscapes, distributed in a fan shape from east to west. The park is rich in animal and plant resources, and the forest vegetation is mostly mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests. The main tree species include Korean pine, Abies nephrolepis, oak, and birch, as well as rare tree species such as cedar, Zanthoxylum, pagoda tree, and silver lime. Under the canopy, there are more than 160 kinds of plants such as wild ginseng, prickly ginseng, and Asarum. There are also 32 species of nationally protected animals. Baizhi has hard and silver-white rocks, and it is named "Baizhi" because the two mountains are shaped like a chicken waist. The scenic area is divided into Qianbaizi and Houbaizi, with elevations of 1318 meters and 1300 meters respectively. According to research, this was a camel transport route. Temples such as Longwang Temple, Guan Gong Temple, and Guanyin Temple were built along the way in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, indicating the economic prosperity and thriving incense at that time. Other attractions include Tian'nv dressing, Bantui Peak, Can'nv bathing in Qianbaizi and Houbaizi. Among them, Tian'nv dressing is a natural triple waterfall located one kilometer away from Wulichang Canal. The water is clear and the scenery is pleasant, suitable for summer tourism and cooling off.
