Introduction

The Liuzhou Museum, located on the east side of the People's Square in Liuzhou, Guangxi, is a modern, well-equipped, comprehensive, and nationally renowned key museum and a landmark building in Liuzhou. It has more than 36,000 cultural relics in its collection, mainly featuring the folk cultural relics of the Zhuang, Yao, Miao, and Dong ethnic groups. The collection includes various historical artifacts such as a bronze horned vessel with Yun Lei Wang pattern from the Western Zhou dynasty, a Warring States flat bell, a Han Dynasty tiger-shaped bronze ingot, bronze mirrors and drums, and calligraphy and painting treasures from famous artists including Dong Qichang from the Ming Dynasty, the "Four Wangs" from the Qing Dynasty, Qi Baishi and Zhang Daqian from the late Han Dynasty. The museum's collection of cultural relics has unique local characteristics and is hailed as a national treasure. Exhibitions include "Liuzhou Historical and Cultural Display," "Liuzhou Ethnic Minority Customs Exhibition," "Ancient Bronze Exhibition," "Ancient Calligraphy and Painting Fan Display," and "Ancient Ceramics Exhibition," which vividly showcase the unique charm of Liuzhou's ethnic culture and long history to visitors.
