Introduction

Feihuyu Grassland Scenic Area is located in the south of Songjiazhuang Village, the northern section of Weixian County. It is about 250 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. It is a natural scenic area mainly known for its canyons and alpine meadows and is also a famous tourist destination in Zhangjiakou.

Transportation

1. Chartering (Departing from the county seat of Yu County) - Departing from the county seat of Yu County (refer to transportation to the Ancient City of Yuzhou) - you can charter a car to the Grassland in the Sky, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (charter cars can be found on the streets in the county seat, but bargaining is needed). 2. Self-driving - Starting from Beijing, take the Jinggangao Expressway in the direction of Langzhuo/Langfang/Zhuozhou South, entering the Langzhuo Expressway and traveling about 33 kilometers in the direction of Yixian, then turning slightly left to enter the Zhangshi Expressway, continuing for 94.0 kilometers until entering the Rongwu Expressway; continue on the Rongwu Expressway and exit at "Yu County South/Fei Foxu", then continue driving about 18 kilometers to reach the Grassland in the Sky. The total distance for the self-driving trip from Beijing is about 285 kilometers and takes about 4 hours. Remember not to take the exit "Source North/Grassland in the Sky" which leads to the Grassland in Laiyuan, not the one in Fei Foxu of Yu County.
