Introduction

Qionghai is the second largest freshwater lake in Sichuan Province. Its rich aquatic resources make it a famous natural fishing ground, loved by local residents and a popular weekend vacation destination. Nowadays, Qionghai is planned as a national wetland park, including major areas such as Bird-watching Island, Dreamy Waterside Village, Misty Egret Island, and West Wave Crane Shadow. The iconic building in the town is the statue of a girl sitting on the moon by the sea. Walking to Qionghai Park, visitors can reach the sea-view bay area, where they can overlook the entire Qionghai scenery from the morning playground. It is a great experience to stay by the Qionghai for a weekend, go boating and try some lake fresh seafood, or rent a bicycle and cycle around the lake.
