Introduction

Tangyu Island is located at the southern end of Pingtan Island, belonging to Nanhai Township. It is a long and narrow sea island. The southernmost beach on the island is a natural crescent-shaped sheltered beach, over 1000 meters long, very suitable for swimming and surfing. The seawater is clear, the waves are about 30-50 centimeters high, and the water flows gently. On Tangyu Island, we can also see a giant granite spherical weathering modeled statue, named Haitan Tianshen. This unique statue is 330 meters long and 150 meters wide at the chest, one of the largest natural statues in the world, which is amazing.
