Introduction
Dinghu Lake is located in the beautiful Dinghu Mountain Scenic Area, known as the pearl on the Tropic of Cancer. The high concentration of negative oxygen ions here makes it an ideal place for health preservation. The lake water is clear and transparent, and is known as Little Guilin. Dinghu District belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate, with pleasant weather throughout the year. The annual average temperature is 22.3 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperature reaching 38.7 degrees Celsius on August 17, 1990, and the lowest temperature reaching -1 degree Celsius on January 11, 1955. In addition, the rainfall is abundant, with an average annual precipitation of 1737.3 millimeters, the maximum record being 2423 millimeters in 1983, and the smallest record being 883 millimeters in 1977. The average sunshine duration throughout the year is 1658.2 hours, with an average accumulated temperature of 7940.7 degrees Celsius. Due to the high altitude in the mountainous areas, the temperature is 2-4 degrees Celsius lower than that in the plain areas. Transportation Dinghu has two stations. One is Dinghu Shan Station located at the end of Guan Yan Avenue in Shuikeng Town, near Shunjing Road, which can be reached by taking the Dinghu Bus Route 9, Zhaoqing Bus Route 205, or K02 Route. The other is Dinghu Dong Station located near Zhaoqing East Station, which can also be reached by taking Routes 205 or K02.
