Introduction

In the local area, the South Gate is also called "Little Tiananmen". In the middle of the platform wall, there is a north-south arched doorway. On both sides of the doorway facing Taipei, there are symmetrical steps, and visitors can climb the city wall along the steps. In the center of the high platform, there is a two-story building with a hipped roof and multiple eaves. With white walls, red pillars, and green tiles, it looks very similar to Beijing's Tiananmen City Gate.
