Introduction
Huangshan Scenic Area, located east of Nanshan Scenic Area, is a quiet place that hides more than ten well-preserved palaces and villas with a blend of Chinese and Western styles, such as Yunxu Tower (Chiang Kai-shek's official residence), Songting (Soong Mei-ling's villa), Songlaige (Soong Ching-ling's former residence), and Caoting (General Marshall's villa). They were all built in the 1930s and 1940s and opened to the public at the end of 2004. Therefore, it is not just a simple museum, but the largest and most well-preserved group of historical sites from the Chongqing capital era.
