Introduction

Dawangling Scenic Area is located in Longhe Village, Daleng Township, Baise City, Guangxi Province. It is only 42 kilometers away from the downtown area and takes about one hour by car. The scenic area is a national AAAA-level scenic area and an autonomous region-level forest park, with a total area of 1.23 million mu, of which 100,000 mu is original forest that has always remained in its natural state. Dawangling has rugged terrain, with the highest peak reaching an altitude of 1,433 meters and the lowest altitude only 130 meters. It is located in a subtropical mountainous area with a pleasant climate and pristine forest scenery. The ecological system is well protected. It is worth mentioning that Dawangling Drifting is the first original forest rafting in China. The entire rafting route is 5 kilometers long, with a drop of 126 meters between the starting and ending points. Along the way, there are rugged mountains, murmuring waterfalls, and thrilling and exciting experiences. Rafters can control the boats themselves and enjoy the natural landscapes such as ancient trees, peculiar rocks, Michelia, vines, and ferns on both sides of the river throughout the journey. It is like drifting through a spring river in the primeval forest. Moreover, the original forest landscape on both sides of the river is towering with lush vegetation, providing cool and pleasant shade for rafters. In addition, the river formed by underground spring water has clear and cool water quality, containing various minerals that are beneficial to the human body, which can calm the mind and cleanse the lungs.
