The largest comprehensive park in Fuxin urban area, Fuxin People's Park, is located in the city center with a total area of 24.16 hectares. The greenery area covers 19.19 hectares, forest area covers 14.28 hectares, water area covers 1.2 hectares, and the lawn area covers 2 hectares. The park has six scenic areas, including flower viewing area, animal observation area, water activities area, leisure and entertainment area, scenic garden viewing area, and park management area. The vegetation is lush, with over 100 kinds of flowers, plants, and trees. As one of the earliest parks built in the urban area, Fuxin People's Park has played a significant role in social, ecological, environmental, and economic benefits.
