Introduction
The Longtan Cave is located in Longtangou, Ninghua Township, Miyi County, about 20 kilometers away from the county seat. The scenic area includes five attractions: the Longtan Cave, Longyin Canyon, natural bonsai garden, wild plant garden, and Longzhou Mountain summit. The cave entrance is semi-circular, with a total length of about 1,100 meters, consisting of 7 large halls, 9 stream pools, 4 waterfalls and 21 sights. The interior is decorated with stalactites, stalagmites, and other strange formations such as stalactite buds and stalactite towers of varying sizes. The scenery is beautiful, with a variety of colors such as stone curtains, stone mountain ranges, and stone chrysanthemums. The entrance to the cave is located on the top of the mountain, with a height difference of several hundred meters, but the inside of the cave is spacious and convenient to pass through. The Longyin Canyon has 23 streams and waterfalls, with charming scenery. The natural bonsai garden has a unique terrain, with terraces and solitary stones, creating a unique landscape. The wild plant garden is home to various wild cacti, forming a forest landscape. The Longzhou Mountain summit has thousands of acres of azaleas and vast pine forests, with a spectacular view. The scenic area was rated as a provincial scenic spot in May 1998 and has now been approved as a national AA-level scenic spot.
