Introduction

After 300 years of construction, this mansion is imposing and magnificent among the Jin merchants' mansions. Its exquisite carving art and grand space layout have become important reasons for attracting tourists to visit. The mansion consists of Gaojia Cliff and Hongmen Fortress, connected by a long bridge in the air, and numerous quadrangles. Gaojia Cliff adopts a closed castle architecture, continuing the structure of the front and back rooms in ancient China, and exquisite carving art can be seen everywhere inside and outside; while Hongmen Fortress faces Gaojia Cliff, and the stone carvings inside integrate the north and south styles, showing the model of carving art in the Qing Dynasty.
