Good Fortune Gorge is a canyon formed by geological changes, which is called "earth crack" in geology. In ancient times, when science was not advanced, the local people could not explain this phenomenon with scientific knowledge. They were amazed to find that those who had been ill for a long time would quickly recover their health after passing through the gorge; those who were poor and destitute would quickly become rich and prosperous after passing through the gorge; those who were infertile after marriage would quickly have many descendants after passing through the gorge; and those scholars who had repeatedly failed the imperial examination would quickly achieve success after passing through the gorge.

The Qingtian Knife Stele is over 50 meters tall and is a massive collapsed rock. Due to the displacement during the collapse, the originally horizontal rock layers are now standing upright on the side of the canyon, grand and majestic. From different angles, one can see ever-changing scenes of eagles, birds, flying fish, the back of a knife, and a celestial stele. Nature has endowed this stone with a beautiful form. It is said that this was once the great knife used by Erlang Shen to kill the White Dragon. After Nuwa Huang placed the White Dragon's god seat, she stood up the great knife that Erlang Shen had dropped, with the back of the knife facing the headless spirit in the cave. Therefore, this great knife that killed the White Dragon became an unlettered stele in its memory, known as the "Qingtian Knife Stele."
