Introduction

This classical garden is famous for its pavilions built around the water and combines the aesthetics of southern and northern Chinese gardens. The total area of the garden is 24,000 square meters, with a water area of over 7,900 square meters. During the peak of summer, lotus flowers bloom, hence the name Lotus Pond. As a nationally protected cultural relic, the ancient Lotus Pond is one of the top ten famous gardens in the country. The garden has many buildings, including the Shui Dong Tower, Zao Yong Hall, Jun Zi Chang Sheng Hall, Xiang Qin Xie, Gao Fen Xuan, Han Lv Xuan, Lin Yi Pavilion, and Guan Lan Pavilion. The Wan Hong Bridge, Qu Bridge, and the White Jade Bridge, a Yuan Dynasty building, intertwine between the rockery and lotus pond, creating a beautiful painting of scenery with poetry.
