Introduction

Poyang Lake, located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, at the junction of Nanchang and Jiujiang, is the largest freshwater lake and the second largest lake in China. The scenery here is beautiful, with waves crashing during the flood season and a vast expanse connected to the sky. During the dry season, the lake recedes and the banks are covered in green grass and reeds. Poyang Lake is also the largest bird sanctuary in the world, and is known as the "world of cranes" and "kingdom of rare birds". It is best for tourists to visit Poyang Lake National Wetland Park in Poyang County to enjoy the lake view, and Hanyang Mouth on Mount Lu is also a great place to view Poyang Lake.
