Introduction

The western Anhui rift valley is located in Zhangdian Town, Jin'an District, Lu'an City, about 40 kilometers away from Lu'an City and about 100 kilometers away from the provincial capital Hefei. It is a rift valley located at the foot of the Dabie Mountains.

Transportation

With the opening of the He-Liu Railway, transportation in Liu'an has become more convenient. Now, there are high-speed trains and regular trains from cities such as Hefei, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Ningbo, Wenzhou, and Yichang that arrive at Liu'an Station. From there, it's just a 30-minute bus ride (Liu'an-Maotan) from the nearby Liu'an Bus Station (less than 500 meters away from the train station) to the Western Anhui Grand Canyon Scenic Area.
