Introduction

Taohuajian is the longest and largest mountain gorge on the Jinping Mountain, with peach blossoms and ancient ferries on both sides, presenting a breathtakingly beautiful scenery. The streams on the Ma'er Peak converge into a rushing stream, which passes through the mountain peak and contrasts with the bare mountain bone to form a unique Chinese painting, ultimately flowing to the south slope. In addition to the amazing scenery of Taohuajian, the Jinping Phosphorus Mine Area below is also a famous attraction. Taohuajian is also a Paleolithic site, and so far, it is the only site excavated in the eastern coastal area of China that contains microlithic industry, which is of great significance for the study of the development of ancient culture and the migration of ancient humans. There are also many pictographic stones on both sides of Taohuajian, with strange shapes and vivid images. Among them, "Jade Rabbit Gazing at the Moon," which resembles a rabbit, is known as the first strange stone in the Taohuajian Scenic Area. The cliff on the entire southern side looks like an ape-man, with clear facial features. This scenic spot is called "Ape-Man Howling Canyon." Below "Ape-Man Howling Canyon," there is a huge rock that resembles Guanyin, which is called "Guanyin Preaching." On the opposite side, there are many ancient sacrificial altars, one of which centers on the worship of the stone ancestors, which the locals call "Shigan Da." In addition, Taohuajian also has sites such as Zizhu Temple and Caiyun Yan, as well as many ancient inscriptions. These inscriptions have ancient and strange forms, depicting images of crops, people, and gods, all full of mystical colors. In conclusion, the scenery of the Taohuajian Scenic Area is breathtakingly beautiful, and it also has rich historical and cultural connotations that are worth a visit.
