Introduction

Kailuan Enterprise was founded in 1878 and is one of the most successful companies in the Self-Strengthening Movement. It has an important position in the history of modern Chinese industry and is known as a living fossil. The bronze tomb of the China Century Monument in Beijing has three imprints that record its splendid history: "Keping Coal Mine was put into production in 1881", "Tangxu Railway opened", and "Rocket Number steam locomotives were produced in China." Transportation: Driving route: Take the exit for Tangshan North of Jing-Shen Expressway and drive towards Tangshan for 25 kilometers. Turn left at the intersection of Jianshe Road and Xinhua Road and drive about 300 meters. Then turn right onto Chezhan Road and go left for about 300 meters to arrive at Kailuan National Mine Park. From the Tangjin Expressway, turn onto Tangshan West Outer Ring and take the exit for Nanhu, then go straight south for about 14 kilometers to reach Kailuan National Mine Park. If taking the Changshen Expressway (G25), take the Nanhu exit and drive south for about 14 kilometers to get to Kailuan National Mine Park. Public transportation: Take bus No. 46 at the Tangshan City Bus Company and get off at Kailuan No.10 Middle School. Walk east for 160 meters to arrive at Kailuan National Mine Park Tangshan Station. Then take bus No. 118 and get off at National Mine Park Station. Walk north for about 300 meters to arrive at Kailuan National Mine Park.
