Introduction

Jiangxi Strange Stone Forest is located in the Wenshan area at the border of Leping, Yiyang, and Wannian counties (cities). It covers an area of several square kilometers and is extremely rare in China's stone landscape. It is the largest, most concentrated, and most beautiful stone forest discovered so far in China. In the Strange Stone Forest, lifelike figurative stones, beautiful underground rivers, various-shaped karst caves, mysterious sinkholes, and stunning stone canyons complement each other. In addition, the scenery is enhanced by trees, vines, and the intricate ecological landscapes, which are either delicate and beautiful, wild and unrestrained, or exquisitely carved and detailed.

Last entry time: 16:30 (January 1 to December 31, Monday to Sunday). Note: From March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023, all elementary and middle school students (including graduate and graduating students) nationwide can receive student benefits and enjoy free admission. Each student can visit a single scenic spot for free once.

Transportation

Take a bus to Leping Bus Station, and then take a minibus to Zhongbu in Leping. After getting off at Zhongbu, you can take a motorcycle or a tricycle to the scenic area.
