Introduction

Yunyang Mountain is located 2.5 kilometers west of the downtown area of Chaling County and is the highest peak within the county. It is also a major scenic spot. As one of the famous mountains in the eastern part of Hunan, its magnificent scenery is second only to Mount Hengshan in the south. Every July, pilgrims who visit Mount Heng in the south will first come to worship at Yunyang Mountain. Therefore, Yunyang Mountain is also known as "Little Mount Heng".
