Introduction

The Chuxi Tulou Cluster is located in Chuxi Village, Xiayang Township, Yongding County. It consists of five circular buildings and dozens of square buildings. They are situated by the mountains and water, and have a very high aesthetic and artistic value. The oldest building, Jiqing Building, was built in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty, and has a history of more than 580 years. It is one of the oldest round earth buildings among Hakka Tulou. The structure of the building is very unique, with 72 staircases, and each household has its own staircase, which is very reasonable and impressive. The TV series "Heading South" was also filmed here. Due to fewer tourists, the atmosphere here is very primitive. If you want to experience the scenery and earth building style of Fujian West in person, you cannot miss the Chuxi Tulou Cluster.
