Introduction
Haidong Town is a Bai ethnic town located on the banks of Erhai Lake. The villagers here make a living by fishing, and the customs are simple and the scenery is pleasant. Along the coastline of Erhai Lake, there is a beautiful scenery of 19.5 kilometers, including the shallow bays of Xiahe, Nancun, and Xiangyang, as well as Jin Suo Island and Luo Quan Peninsula. On the Luo Quan Peninsula, there is a place called Tianjing Pavilion, which is said to have a legend called "Wangfu Yun." In addition, there are inscriptions of poems by literati from all ages on the docks along the coast. Every year in January, activities such as the Buddha's reception festival and dragon boat races are held here, which are very spectacular and lively.
