Sky Ceiling Lake Park, A Miraculous Well Above the Lake

Introduction
Tianjing Lake, located at the foot of Wusong Mountain in Tongling City, Anhui Province, is a beautiful scenic lake. The lake covers an area of 80 hectares, surrounded by mountains, which adds to the charm of the lake. The lake is divided into three parts, East Lake, South Lake, and North Lake, by two long embankments. In addition, there is a water source called "Ancient Lake," which has been moved to Hangzhou. The lake is fed by springs and connected to the Yangtze River downstream, so the water is clear and transparent. In the center of South Lake, there is a small island with a well named "Tianjing." The water level in the well is always about two meters higher than that in the lake, and the lake water rises and falls with it, creating a wonderful landscape known as "the well water does not invade the river water." It is said that the water source of this well comes from heaven, used to supply tea for gods and immortals, and therefore it is called "Tianjing." Later, a building called "Tongtian Pavilion" was built on the well to protect this unique well water. Tianjing Lake Park is located on the north side of Changjiang West Road, the main road in the city, about 5 kilometers away from Tongguan Mountain. The "Tianjing" in the lake is a major attraction of the park. Because of the underground springs, the water in the well is about 2 meters higher than the lake water all year round.
