Introduction

Meishan Dragon Palace is a scenic area located in the hinterland of Xuefeng Mountain (formerly known as Meishan) in Hunan Province. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national-level scenic spot, a national dual heritage site of nature and culture, a scenic area of the new Xiaoxiang Eight Scenes in Hunan Province, and one of the first popular tourist destinations in Hunan. Meishan Dragon Palace is located on the bank of Zishui River in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province. It is a large karst cave group that includes various geological landscapes such as caves, gorges, peaks, cliffs, streams, funnels, and underground rivers. There are nine layers of caves with a confirmed length of more than 2,870 meters and a developed tour route of 1,896 meters, including the rare 466-meter-long underground river in the world. The entire cave is divided into six major scenic areas: Dragon Palace Reception, Blue Water Lotus Palace, Jade Emperor Heaven Palace, Dragon Palace Fairyland, Dragon Palace Style, and Dragon and Phoenix Auspiciousness, making it a landmark tourist destination.
