Introduction

Shifang Yinghua Mountain Scenic Area is a high mountain scenic area mainly featuring natural landscapes such as Buddha light, sunrise, sea of clouds, holy lamps, and Huashan Mountain. It is a provincial-level scenic area located in the northwest of Shifang City. It is adjacent to Jiufengshan Scenic Area in Mianzhu, Mao County, and Peng County, and is located in the transitional zone between the Sichuan Western Plain and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is 37 kilometers away from the county town and 98 kilometers away from Chengdu. The scenic area covers an area of 180 square kilometers. The peak is 3160 meters high and is a high mountain scenic area mainly featuring natural landscapes. The Shifang Yinghua Mountain Scenic Area is characterized by high mountains and deep valleys, competing peaks, lush forests, fragrant wildflowers, magnificent and diverse scenery that is captivating. There are multiple waterfalls, with the three-stage waterfall being the most distinctive. The vegetation in Yinghua Mountain is excellent and is known as the "stacked emerald of Yinghua". It is home to rare plants such as the Ginkgo biloba, gingko, Chinese fir, Chinese nanmu, and Chinese toon. There are hundreds of species of azaleas, primroses, camellias, lilies, bluebells and other ornamental flowers. The wildlife includes giant pandas, golden monkeys, green monkeys, wild donkeys, antelope, musk deer, deer, goats, as well as pheasants such as the tragopan, pheasant, and golden pheasant. The famous swan forest is composed of pine, fir, and willow forests covering an area of nearly 8 square kilometers. There are numerous types of rare flowers and grasses, covering the entire mountain. The natural landscapes of Yinghua are exceptional, with "five wonders" and "four seas" (i.e. watching the sunrise, admiring the cloud waterfall, appreciating the Buddha light, experiencing the holy lamps, and strolling through Huashan; sea of clouds, sea of mist, sea of forests, sea of flowers) being the highlights. Especially the Buddha light in the morning, the holy lamps in the thin tomb, the sea of flowers on the mountaintop, and the roaring forest surroundings are particularly outstanding. It is known as "rare among famous mountains in the country". When the morning clouds first appear, the sunlight shines on the mountain, revealing multiple halos in yellow, blue, red, and green colors. There are black shadows in the light, resembling Buddha statues, hence the name "Buddha light". Sometimes mirages appear, displaying a golden sea of clouds with ever-changing colors, presenting the beauty of heaven and earth. The scenic area also features peculiar peaks, caves, dense forests, and rare birds. The peaks resemble flying iron castings, resembling camels, elderly people, lingzhi mushrooms, and people making offerings, adding a lively atmosphere. The scenic area is also famous for its "hundred miles high mountains, snow persists until June."
