Introduction

Daocheng County is a county in the southwest of Sichuan Province, China, located in the southern part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, on the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, on the eastern side of the Hengduan Mountains. It belongs to the Kangba Tibetan area of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is bordered by Jiulong County to the east, Xiangcheng County to the west, Litang County to the north, and Muli Tibetan Autonomous County to the south, while also bordering with Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province to the southwest.

Transportation
Self-driving: Take the Sichuan-Tibet North Line (National Highway 317) to the Sichuan-Tibet South Line (National Highway 318). Specifically, go from Chengdu to Daocheng via Dujiangyan, Wolong, Mount Siguniang, Xiaojin County, Danba County, Bamei, Tagong township, Xinduqiao, Yajiang County, and Litang County, and then head southward to the Yading Scenic Area.
