Introduction
Since the establishment of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the ancient city of Tongguan has undergone two migrations and three fortifications, and the structure of the city has undergone multiple changes, with various facilities. Initially, the Eastern Han Dynasty abolished the Hangu Pass in Lingshou County, Henan, and rebuilt it in Xin'an and Hengshanling, Hongnong County. Later, during the Jian'an period, Emperor Xian moved the pass to the south gate outside Tongguan in Yangjiazhuang and Chengbei Village today and the city was henceforth named. Although there is no detailed record in historical books about the construction of Tongguan, it can be seen from its ruins that it started from Yuanwang Gou in the east, extended along the west to Chengbei Village, and then extended eastward to the east bank of Jingu. The terrain on the north and south sides facing the ditch is wide and flat. During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Yuwen Tai defeated the Eastern Wei general Dou Tai here. Later, Emperor Ming of Zhou, Yuwen Jue, renamed Tongguan as "Tonggu Pass". Opening hours All day (Everyday from January 1st to December 31st, Monday to Sunday)
