Introduction

Cangmi Ancient Road is located in the eastern mountainous area of Yanqing, 90 kilometers away from the city center. It was a crucial passage for transporting rice to the mountainous areas in ancient times, hence the name. Now, this picturesque valley has a new name - Baili Landscape Gallery. The entire scenic area covers 850 square kilometers, with a tourist route spanning over 100 kilometers. The average annual temperature here is about 5 degrees lower than Beijing. The route is surrounded by mountains and water, offering ever-changing scenery that is captivating. The Cangmi Ancient Road tourist route is over 100 kilometers long and includes six areas: Yanshan Tianchi Scenic Area, Fossil Forest Scenic Area, Drip Water Lake Scenic Area, "Green Lush Four Hundred Turns," Qixian Ridge Scenic Area, and Pearl Spring Scenic Area. People who have visited here say it is as beautiful as a fairyland, with scarce population and no crowding. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a beautiful Tianchi and a wide lake, where the mountains and water complement each other, creating shimmering waves.
