Introduction

The arboretum covers an area of 25,400 square meters and is located in the central part of the World Expo Park. There are over 40,000 rare tree species of first and second grades. Yunnan is one of the richest regions in China and even in the world in terms of forest germplasm resources. Through the arboretum, it can demonstrate the effectiveness of China's protection of rare and endangered plants, as well as the important status and role of Yunnan in the global research of magnolia plants. The arboretum transplants and cultivates more than 300 species from 83 families, totaling more than 20,000 plants, including 50 rare and endangered plants and over 1,000 trees.
