Introduction
Heijing Ancient Town in Lufeng County is one of the four ancient towns in Yunnan Province. It has been a salt-producing area since ancient times. Heijing is situated by the river and mountains, with a history of nearly a century. There are 21 cultural heritage sites in the town, preserving the complete traditional urban pattern. Heijing is also mentioned in Jin Yong's novel "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" as one of the nine salt wells of Dali Kingdom. Although Heijing is not as glorious as it used to be, it still retains historical relics such as traditional alleys, residential houses in Ming and Qing style, ancient pagodas, temples, etc. In particular, the well-preserved typical martial arts courtyard of Ming and Qing dynasty architecture attracts many tourists. When visiting Heijing, visitors can also see attractions such as Feilai Temple, salt wells, Qing'an embankment, and experience the charm of this isolated place.
