Introduction

Yubeng Ice Lake is a turquoise lake formed by the melting of the Meili Snow Mountain glacier and the accumulation of snow water. It is also one of the main water sources for Yubeng Village. Looking at the lake on a small hill, you can see the blue sky and white clouds reflected in the clear green lake, surrounded by white mountains. Starting from the base camp, it only takes about an hour to climb the steep road to reach the ice lake. As the ice lake is formed by glacier meltwater, avalanches often occur, so please do not approach the ice lake or areas where glacier meltwater is present.
