Introduction
China Ocean University in Qingdao is a key university in China. Before 1958, it was the location of Qingdao University, and even earlier, it was a German Bismarck Barracks. Influenced by these factors, the campus still retains the appearance of the original German architecture. It was officially renamed "China Ocean University" in 2002. Many famous writers such as Lao She, Liang Shiqiu, Shen Congwen, Wen Yiduo, Wu Boxiao, and Hong Shen have taught here.
