Introduction

Located at No. 23 Nanhai Road, adjacent to the First Bathing Beach, it is the former site of the "Prinz Heinrich Hotel". This hotel was jointly built in 1903 by German businessmen and bankers and was the highest-grade hotel in the East Asian region at that time. It was also the predecessor of the Qingdao Hotel Association. In 1912, Sun Yat-sen stayed at the Seaside Hotel during his visit to Qingdao. It is now a national key cultural heritage site.
