Introduction

The Rainstorm God Waterfall formed by the melting water of Meili Snow Mountain is a breathtaking sight. Local Tibetans bathe under the waterfall to purify their souls, which is a form of their practice. Tourists can walk around the waterfall three times clockwise according to tradition, praying for good luck and safety. The scenery of the Rainstorm God Waterfall varies with the seasons. Normally, it is just a water line hanging on the mountain like a strand of hada, but in the rainy season, it presents a spectacular view. In spring and summer, the melting snow makes the waterfall even more turbulent. Along the way to the God Waterfall, there are many stone mani piles built by Tibetan locals. Tourists can also add some stones to them, which is considered a way of accumulating blessings.
