Introduction

Wannian Temple is located opposite Jin Ding and is the oldest Buddhist temple on Mount Emei. It is always crowded with people and incense. The temple has a Buddhist building modeled after the Indian Rana Temple, which gives people a unique exotic atmosphere. Compared to many Chinese-style temples, this building appears more unique. Here, the environment is quiet and there are many historical inscriptions remaining, the most famous of which is the "First Mountain Monument" handwritten by Mi Fu. Wannian Temple can be reached by cable car or a 40-minute walk. The environment here is beautiful and the artistic conception is profound. For Buddhists, this is also a good place for pilgrimage.
