Introduction

(1) Beautiful snow mountain scenery. Hailuogou is located on the eastern slope of Gongga Mountain, with several perennial snow mountains distributed within, creating a holy and magnificent natural landscape. (2) Majestic glacier views. The No.1 glacier in Hailuogou is the most famous, measuring about 13 kilometers long and covering an area of about 24 square kilometers. Meanwhile, Hailuogou's large ice waterfall is about 1080 meters high and 1200 meters wide, making it one of the tallest ice waterfalls in the world. (3) Abundant natural hot spring resources. The hot springs in Hailuogou are widespread, with large reserves, high temperatures, and transparent water quality. They are rich in minerals and trace elements and can be used as natural medicinal hot springs, stumping the scientific community with their mysteries. (4) Unique red rock landscapes. Hailuogou is one of the world's most widespread areas for red rock distribution, with red rock beaches stretching for tens of kilometers, blending with the glaciers. Every rock has a beautiful red coat due to unique conditions like low temperatures and active glaciers, making the red rock landscapes a wonder to behold. (5) Rich biological resources. Hailuogou has a vertical drop of more than 6500 meters, creating seven vertical climates and eight vegetation zones. This has resulted in abundant plant communities and rare flora and fauna, making it a refuge for ice-age flora and fauna according to the biological and botanical community. (6) Comfortable living environment. Hailuogou is mainly covered by forests and grasslands, releasing a large amount of negative ions with a high concentration. It is known as a natural oxygen bar and a world lung-cleansing center, creating a comfortable living environment.

Transportation

There are tourist buses from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station directly to Hailuogou. The bus departs at 09:30 every day and the ticket price is about 119 yuan, with a journey of 6-7 hours.
