Introduction

The Three Holy Mountains of Daocheng Yading are composed of the peaks Xian Nairi, Yang Maiyong, and Xiannuoduoji, representing Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, and Vajrapani Bodhisattva, respectively. The three peaks are covered in snow all year round and echo each other from a distance, reaching up to the sky. According to historical records, the Divine Peak of Daocheng ranks 11th among the 24 sacred sites in the world of Buddhism. Nowadays, many Tibetans like to come here to circumambulate and pay homage to the mountains.

[External Transportation] To reach Yading Scenic Area, you need to charter a car from Daocheng County town and can only go to Riwa Township. From Riwa, you need to switch to the scenic area's sightseeing car to get to Yading Village. It takes about an hour and a half each way between Daocheng and Riwa, and about an hour and a half from Riwa to Yading Village. The round-trip car cost between Daocheng and Riwa is 400-700 yuan/vehicle, and the carpool cost is about 50 yuan/person. [Internal Transportation] 1. Scenic area sightseeing car, route: Shangri-La Town Ticket Center-Zharqu, fare of 120 yuan/person (round-trip), and the journey takes about 2 hours; Yading Village-Zharqu, fare of 20 yuan/person. 2. Electric car, route: Chonggu Temple Lawn-Luorong Cattle Farm, fare of 80 yuan/person (round-trip), and the journey takes about 20 minutes. 3. Caravan, route: Luorong Cattle Farm-Niuhai Lake, Luorong Cattle Farm-Wusehai Lake, cost of 300 yuan/person (round-trip), and one-way journey takes about 2 hours.
